This policy explains how the dental clinic of Dr Amal Mhanna ("the clinic", "we") uses the personal information of patients and of anyone who contacts us by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Who is responsible

What we collect

Your name and phone number, and the messages and calls you exchange with the clinic.
Your appointments: the date, time and type of visit.
Information you choose to give us so we can help you, for example a question about a treatment.

This website itself does not use cookies or analytics and does not collect information.

Why we use it

To answer your calls and messages and to book, move or cancel appointments.
To send you appointment confirmations and reminders, if you agreed to receive them. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP or telling us.
To keep the records the law requires of a dental practice.

WhatsApp and our booking assistant

We use WhatsApp Business (provided by Meta) to talk with patients. Calls and messages to our WhatsApp number may be answered by an automated booking assistant that helps with appointments and general questions about the clinic. It does not give medical advice; a member of our team takes over whenever you need a person. The assistant is operated for the clinic by a service provider (ShareCall), which processes the conversations only to provide this service to us.

Who we share it with

Only the providers we need to run the clinic's communication and booking (Meta for WhatsApp, and our booking service provider and its technical sub-processors), under agreements that limit their use to providing the service. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Messages and appointment details are kept as long as needed to care for you and to meet our legal obligations for patient records, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows, by calling us or writing to info@mhannaorthodontics.com. We answer within 10 days.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and its date.
